NaPoWriMo - up-to-date.

Sun Apr 19, 2009, 5:52 AM

"The man is a cheshire cat: all smile and no substance. At least he disappears every now and then."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

In writing news, I am up-to-date with NaPoWriMo, although I have declined to post any save the occasional piece of light verse - which may be found in my scraps. Revision of any pieces worthy of the effort shall commence in May.

I have been largely focusing my NaPo efforts via *The-Cabal

The recent Soundzine was fun [link]

Benedictions all.

SOUNDZINE

:iconsoundzine: Visit ~Soundzine - Peruse the archives. Get a microphone and submit something. Don't let fear get in the way of trying something new!

Here, allow me to [link] you to the Soundzine webpage.

These are the poems of mine that I still enjoy reading, in roughly descending value.

A Memory for an Old Friend

Eulogy

Memorial under Streetlights

Well Acquainted

Winter

Blue

Alive

Shades of Sleep

Mantra

A Blank Page

Tales in Read

Cold Comfort

Standing In Dust

Half a Glass

Tapestries

[link] - this journal of mine is an example of what a year of utilising DA's literary resources can potentially do for you. Have a look. This is also a good 'before and after' example of my works.

Prepare to laugh. A lot. I can also promise cringing.

Benedictions!

  • Reading: Otherland - Tad Williams

Which is why I tend towards option of disappearing for months at an time in preference to letting people know what is happening.

Being labelled as 'emo' during crisis irks me.

I kid you because we are friends. That you are irked saddens me; it was my intention to lighten your day.

I apologize and continue now, and in the future, to wish you well through every crisis, comrade.

Never mind my friend, I was in a particularly bad mood last night, I fear - positively snarly and bad-tempered.
My apologies.

It's fine.

And if I can help in any way, at any time, you have only to ask.
